After 50 years of separation of Gujarat from the Maharashtra State, the Gujarat Government though it fit to have a separate legislation for the public charitable trusts viz. Gujarat Public Trust Act, 2011. The Act has replaced the Bombay Public Trust Act. Experts are opining that the new law will make the administering of the trusts very difficult.
Keeping in mind with the importance of the subject, we have organized a meeting to understand the important aspects of the Gujarat Public Trust Act, 2011. We are pleased to inform you that eminent advocate Shri Dhruveen Shah has agreed to share his views on the subject.
