Workshop on Provisions of Revised Schedule VI of the Companies Act

 

 

The reporting format of the financial statement has been modified and is applicable to all the Companies whose accounting year starting on or after 1st April, 2011. While reporting financial statement for FY 2011-12, we need to recast previous years figures (i.e. FY 2010-11) as per revised Schedule VI. We need extensive study of revised schedule VI.

 

Keeping in mind the importance of the subject, we have organized a "Workshop on Provisions of Revised Schedule VI of the Companies Act". We are extremely happy to inform you that Central Council Member CA Dhinal A. Shah has agreed to lead the workshop on the subject.

LECTURE MEETING ON SERVICE TAX PROPOSALS IN BUDGET 2012

 

Budget 2012 has made significant and very large number of proposals in direct as well as in indirect taxes.  Provisions are proposed to change service tax applicability on all the services except services listed in negative list. Moreover, point of taxation rules are also proposed to be modified.

 

We, as professional, have to understand the proposed amendments to guide our clients. Keeping in mind above, we have organized a Lecture meeting on "Service Tax Proposals in Budget 2012. We are pleased to inform that CA Gautam Joshi (Expert in the field of indirect tax advisory) has agreed to share his knowledge and experience on the proposals relating to service tax.
