After enjoying diwali holidays, all of us must have resume the office. We shall take opportunity to meet once again for another important and most relevant topic. The Government has decided to implement the provisions of IFRS w. e. f. 1-4-2011 for certain type of companies and subsequently it will applicable to all the companies. There are latest developments in implementation and provisions of IFRS which the members are require to know.  

 

Keeping in mind the importance of the above subject, we have organized the lecture meeting on Important Issues on IFRS. We are extremely pleased to inform that CA Chintan N. Patel has agreed to share his knowledge and experience on the subject.

LECTURE MEETING ON TAX ISSUES ON ASSESSMENT PROCEEDINGS

 

Dear Members,

 

For last three years, there is a three fold increase in number of Income Tax scrutiny assessment. Almost half of our time is consumed in complying the requirements of the assessing officer. All of us have to be very careful in replying the notices of the officers. We also come across so many critical issues during such assessment for which we might have to consult senior members/advocates.

 

Keeping in mind the importance of the above subject, we have organized the lecture meeting on Tax Issues on Assessment Proceedings. We are extremely pleased to inform that CA Sanjay R. Shah has agreed to share his knowledge and experience on the subject in spite of his busy schedule in the branch activities.

LECTURE MEETING ON TAXATION OF LLP

 

Dear Members,

 

By now all the members must have completed another hectic audit season and must be relax. The LLP/LLC is the most tax friendly entity in western countries. In India we have partnership firms which is enjoying single tax i.e. tax on profits of the firm and no tax on share to the partners. However, the partners of the firm have unlimited liability. As against that the company has limited liability but has double taxation i.e. tax on profits of the company and tax on dividend distribution. Considering the above proposition in mind the finance ministry has introduced the concept of LLP in India.    

 

Keeping in mind the importance of the above subject, we have organized the lecture meeting on Taxation of LLP. We are extremely pleased to inform that our Regional Council Member CA Bhailalbhai Patel has agreed to share his knowledge and experience on the subject.

Due to extension of due date for completing Tax Audit and Filling of Income Tax returns, all the members must be in relax. So we took opportunity to arrange a meeting on a subject which is most useful to all the members. To survive in this competitive market, industries have to cut down its cost to remain in business and to maximize the profits. In India, cost of finance is a major component of product cost and hence reduction in finance cost is utmost important.

 

Keeping in mind the importance of the above subject, we have organized a lecture meeting on "alternative sources of finance". We are extremely pleased to inform that CA Pradip Modi has agreed to share his knowledge and experience on the subject.
