Meeting on Issues on Tax Audit

 

After the mini vacation of festival and religious holidays, now we must have to gear up for the Tax Audit. In spite of our expertise in Tax Audit, we are facing certain issues which need to be keep in mind during our audit.

 

Keeping in mind with the importance of the subject, we have organized a meeting on  "Issues on Tax Audit". We are pleased to inform you that our member CA Chirag M. Shah has agreed to share his experience and knowledge on the subject.

LECTURE MEETING ON XBRL

Dear Members,

 

The Government(MCA)  has changed the filing format of Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet in XBRL format. The Government has also clarified that the provisions will be applicable to companies whose turnover is Rs. 100 crores or more and/or paid up capital is Rs. 5 crores or more. All the listed companies, irrespective of their capital/turnover, are also required to file Profit & Loss A/c. and Balance Sheet in XBRL form. These provisions are applicable w.e.f. F. Y. 2010-11.

 

Hence we need to understand the XBRL format. Keeping in mind above, we have organized a Lecture meeting on the above subject. We are extremely happy to inform that CA Chintan Patel has agreed to share his knowledge and experience on the subject.

Lecture Meeting on "Capacity Building Through Use of Software" , "E-filing of I T Returns & MCA Filing" and Company Law Settlement Scheme.

 

Everybody of us now must be relax after filing of income tax returns of Non-auditable assesses. Now day by day, we must be expert in using software for preparing and offloading Income tax returns and for MCA filing. For the benefits of the members, we have organized a program on how to use computer software for preparing and filing of e-returns and also the procedure for MCA filing.

 

In addition, as we all are aware, Government of India, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, announced the Company Law Settlement Scheme (CLSS). Since many companies are not filing their ROC returns on timely basis, records are not updated regularly. Such companies are also facing additional fees burden due to non-filing of Annual Returns. In order to regularize such irregularities, an opportunity has been given by the above CLSS scheme till 31^st October, 2011. We are thankful to CA Vikas Jain who has agreed to share his knowledge on immediate notice.
