Meeting on "Taxability of Works Contract & TDS Provisions Under VAT Act".

 

Friends, on completion of busy September, we must be relex now. Next deadline is scrutiny assessment and VAT audit. In conducting VAT audit, we must know the important provisions of the VAT Act. There are a lot of controversies in provisions of VAT in respect of real estate transactions.

Meeting on "Tax Planning Through Business Structuring and Restructuring"

 

Friends, September is the most busy month for all of us since the audit is to be completed before the end of this month. After globalization, business structuring and restructuring is common phenomenon. In this competitive environment, Tax Planning is required to survive in the market. Hence there is a need to understand Tax Planning Through Business Structuring and Restructuring.

Lecture Meeting on Gujarat Public Trust Act, 2011

 

After 50 years of separation of Gujarat from the Maharashtra State, the Gujarat Government though it fit to have a separate legislation for the public charitable trusts viz. Gujarat Public Trust Act, 2011. The Act has replaced the Bombay Public Trust Act. Experts are opining that the new law will make the administering of the trusts very difficult.

 

Keeping in mind with the importance of the subject, we have organized a meeting to understand the important aspects of the Gujarat Public Trust Act, 2011. We are pleased to inform you that eminent advocate Shri Dhruveen Shah has agreed to share his views on the subject.

LECTURE MEETING ON XBRL

Dear Members,

 

The Government(MCA)  has changed the filing format of Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet in XBRL format. The Government has also clarified that the provisions will be applicable to companies whose turnover is Rs. 100 crores or more and/or paid up capital is Rs. 5 crores or more. All the listed companies, irrespective of their capital/turnover, are also required to file Profit & Loss A/c. and Balance Sheet in XBRL form. These provisions are applicable w.e.f. F. Y. 2010-11.

 

Hence we need to understand the XBRL format. Keeping in mind above, we have organized a Lecture meeting on the above subject. We are extremely happy to inform that CA Chintan Patel has agreed to share his knowledge and experience on the subject.
