In spite of the facts that we are doing the corporate audits for several years, we are not updated on latest provisions of the Companies Act and hence our audit reports required to be reported after considering certain important issues which need to be taken care of properly.

 

Keeping in mind relevance of the above subject in our day-to-day practice, we have organized Lecture meeting on the above subject. We are extremely pleased to inform you that CA Ramesh Kedia has agreed to share his knowledge and experience on the subject.

Lecture Meeting on " AUTOMATION TOWARDS PREPARATION OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS "

Dear Friends,

 

In today's perspective with advancement & fast development of Technology, every Chartered Accountant has to know Applications of Computer like MS Word, Excel etc. in order to perform our duty in a better and organized manner. Moreover there are many Tools in computer applications which can make much of our work easier.

 

Generally, we professionals are getting the work done through Articles / Computer Operators. We hardly spend time to learn and use Computer Application Tools for Automation of day to day activities like Ledger Scrutiny, preparation of Financial Statements etc. Keeping in mind this reality & limiting constraint which we Professionals are facing, we have organized an interactive session and Lecture Meeting on the subject of Automation towards preparation of Financial Statements.

LECTURE MEETING ON SERVICE TAX - REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS & ALLIED PROVISIONS

Dear Members,

 

The Hon'able Finance Minister, while presenting Finance Bill, 2010, proposed modifications in levy of Service Tax on Real Estate Transactions. After receiving consent from Hon' able President of India, it becomes Finance Act, 2010. Levy of Service Tax is effective w.e.f. 1^st July, 2010. Since then it becomes issue of discussion between Construction Industry and Service Tax Department. Various organizations working for the benefits of Construction Industry have already submitted their representations to Govt. regarding the issue. And we, as a practicing CA, have to understand the complexities of the subject to guide our clients in a better manner.

LECTURE MEETING ON COMPANY LAW SETTLEMENT SCHEME (CLSS)

 

As we all are aware, Government of India, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, announced the Company Law Settlement Scheme (CLSS), 2010 and Easy Exit Scheme, 2010 on 26^th May, 2010. Since many companies are not filing their ROC returns on timely basis, records are not updated regularly and are not updated. Such companies are also facing additional fees burden due to non-filing of documents. In order to regularize such irregularities, an opportunity has been given by the above CLSS scheme till 31^st August, 2010.

 

Keeping in mind relevance of the scheme in our practice, we have organized Lecture meeting on the above subject. We are extremely delighted to inform that CA Vikas Jain has agreed to share his knowledge and experience on the subject.
