Study Circle Meeting on "Important Aspects of Bank Branch Audit - IN CBS Environment"

Friends, we have already conducted meeting on "Verification of Advances in Bank Branch Audit" on 14^th March. Now almost all branches of the bank are CBS and we need to know the CBS mechanism while conducting bank branch audit.

 

To understand the other aspects of bank branch audit in computerized environment, we have organized a meeting on ""Important Aspects of Bank Branch Audit – IN CBS Environment".  We are please to inform you that our member CA Ramesh Kedia has agreed to share his vide knowledge and experience of bank branch audit with us.

ICAI invites suggestions on tax proposals of Union Budget 2012-13

Dear Member,

 

The Direct Taxes Committee, Indirect Taxes Committee and Committee on International Taxation invite suggestions on the tax proposals of the Finance Bill, 2012 for consideration and inclusion of the same in the Post Budget Memorandum, 2012 to be submitted to the Ministry of Finance.

We are suppose to send the compilation of all valuable suggestions from our members to the committee on behalf of Navjivan CPE Study Circle of WIRC of ICAI.

Study Circle Meeting on Verification of Advances in Bank Branch Audit & Discussion of Exposure Draft of Statement on Internal Audit - Related Party

 

Friends, bank branch audit is different from our other corporate audits since the record keeping and transaction trails of banking industry are different. We have to conduct the bank branch audit in light of provisions of Reserve Bank of India and Banking Regulation Act. Verification of Advances is the most important aspect of the bank audit.

 

To update ourselves with the provisions of bank audit, we have arranged a meeting on "Verification of Advances in Bank Branch Audit".  We are please to inform you that our senior member CA Shri Kulinbhai Vasavada has agreed to share his vide knowledge and experience of bank branch audit with us.

 

We have also decided to discuss the Exposure Draft of Statement on Internal Audit – Related Party. Our regional council member CA Shri Bhailalbhai K. Patel has agreed to lead the discussion on the exposure draft.
