Friends, bank branch audit is different from our other corporate audits since the record keeping and transaction trails of banking industry are different. We have to conduct the bank branch audit in light of provisions of Reserve Bank of India and Banking Regulation Act. Verification of Advances is the most important aspect of the bank audit.
To update ourselves with the provisions of bank audit, we have arranged a meeting on "Verification of Advances in Bank Branch Audit". We are please to inform you that our senior member CA Shri Kulinbhai Vasavada has agreed to share his vide knowledge and experience of bank branch audit with us.
We have also decided to discuss the Exposure Draft of Statement on Internal Audit – Related Party. Our regional council member CA Shri Bhailalbhai K. Patel has agreed to lead the discussion on the exposure draft.

We have also decided to celebrate the "Best Study Circle Award" awarded by the WIRC of ICAI for the year 2011 with our members. The meeting will be followed by the Dinner. We request all the members to attend the meeting in large numbers.
