Dear Members,
The Hon'able Finance Minister, while presenting Finance Bill, 2010, proposed modifications in levy of Service Tax on Real Estate Transactions. After receiving consent from Hon' able President of India, it becomes Finance Act, 2010. Levy of Service Tax is effective w.e.f. 1st July, 2010. Since then it becomes issue of discussion between Construction Industry and Service Tax Department. Various organizations working for the benefits of Construction Industry have already submitted their representations to Govt. regarding the issue. And we, as a practicing CA, have to understand the complexities of the subject to guide our clients in a better manner.
Keeping in mind relevance of the subject in our day to day practice, we have organized Lecture meeting on the above subject. We are extremely delighted to inform you that eminent faculty on the Subject, CA Nilesh Suchak has agreed to share his knowledge and experience on the subject.
We request all the members to remain present in large number to take benefit of the knowledge and experience of the faculty on the subject.
